Gladys Faye Bennett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Faye Bennett of Okemah, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence L. Tillery and Mattie Rose Tillery (Glasco); her husband Billy Wayne Bennett; her son Bobby Wayne Bennett; her granddaughter Veronica Bennett; and her siblings, Leon Tillery, Johnnie Tillery, Melvin Tillery, Marvin "Bozzy" Tillery, Donnie Tillery, Ruby Fuller, Bessie McCormick, Freda Wind, Betty Smith, Delois Smith, Donna Sue Tillery and Opal Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon (Glen Siler), Karen (Dale Howeth), Billie (Kenry Beaver) and Connie (Billy Henry); her sister Katie Dennis; and her daughters-in-law, Anna Bennett, Dorothy Bennett and Elaine Tillery. She is also survived by 13 grandkids, 26 great grand kids, and 17 great-great grand kids, along with a host of nieces, nephews, & friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home - Okemah (301 N 3rd St, Okemah, OK 74859). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
