She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Vanderslice (James) of Welty, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Jarrod Vanderslice (Amber) of Waynesboro and Jesse Vanderslice of Welty, Oklahoma; her great grandchildren, Jaylie Vanderslice of Waynesboro, Mississippi, Jace Vanderslice of Waynesboro, Mississippi and Johanna Vanderslice of Waynesboro, Mississippi; and her sister Lena Condict of Okemah, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home - Okemah (301 N 3rd St, Okemah, OK 74859).
One of Shirley and Dale's most treasured contributions to their family began in the early 1980s, when they dedicated a portion of their property to hosting the large Harrison Family Reunion.
