Anthony R. Eteeyan Obituary
Anthony Ross "Shawnemde" Eteeyan, 41, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 in Oklahoma. He was born March 24, 1982 in Iola, KS, the son of Warren "Hardy" Eteeyan and Rubina Alese Stockebrand.
Anthony received his GED in May 2003. He was a laborer most of his life.
He was a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Survivors include his significant other, Michelle Throssell of Oklahoma City, OK; mother, Rubina Stockeband of Oklahoma City, OK; father, Hardy Eteeyan of Mayetta, KS; 3 siblings, Donita Carter of New River, AZ, Scott Eteeyan of Lawrence, KS and Eva "Snugs" Eteeyan of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 children, Lucinda and Aiden Eteeyan and Mariah Wahweotten all of Mayetta; 5 nephews, Montana Eteeyan of Parsons, KS, Vernon Jim and Austin Eteeyan both of Topeka, KS, Henry Eteeyan of Wichita, KS and Lincoln Eteeyan of Oklahoma City, OK along with many relatives and friends.
Wake will be Monday evening, May 22, 2023 at Nozhackum Hall. Burial will be Tuesday morning, May 23, 2023 at Prairie People's Cemetery.
Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
