She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Burleson and Maggie Fay Burleson (Boston); her husband John Samuel Akey; her son-in-law Stephen E. Stone; and her siblings, Bonnie Burleson, Marvin "Boots" Burleson, Frank Burleson, Bill Burleson, Sidney "Sid" Burleson and Joyce Teague.
She is survived by: her children, John Darrell Akey of Moore, OK, Regina Fay Stone of Moore, OK, Dewight Wesley Akey of Moore, OK and Dewayne Samuel Akey (Rendi) of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Donnetta Stone of Moore, OK, Craig Akey of Oklahoma City, OK, Ashley Akey of Washington, OK, Heather Snyder (Jon) of Oklahoma City, OK, Jessieca Christiana of Oklahoma City, OK and John Jeremiah Akey of Oklahoma City, OK; her great grandchildren, Craig Akey Jr., Angelina Akey, Aubrey Williams, Tristin Bradford, Zayne Christiana, Teaguen Christiana, Alicede Christiana, Kannon Jackson and Kreed Davidson; and her siblings, Everette Burleson (Roberta) of Stringtown, OK, Ray Burleson (Ann) of Chickasha, OK and Carlotta Henson of Stringtown, OK. She is also survived by nieces nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
