With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara March (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma). Barbara, born on December 2, 1939, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Barbara for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Barbara’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She is survived by: her husband John; and her children, Ellen (John) of Wichita, Kansas, Julie (Ed) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Christina (Eric) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and John (Shannon) of Yukon, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crawford Buchanan Funeral Home (8712 N Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Hope United Methodist Church (11600 N Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery (14300 N County Line Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Hope UMC Food Outreach ministry or another charity of your choice.
