She was predeceased by: her parents, Dona Jean Brown and Cecil Nicholas Schoelen; her grandparents, Charles of Kingfisher, Anna Brown of Kingfisher, Jacob of Kingfisher and Elizabeth Schoelen of Kingfisher; her sisters, Lillian Kaye Fife and Cecilia Massey; and her son Christopher Smola.
She is survived by: her sisters, Cecila, Betty, Ruth and Janice; her husband S. Steven Smola; her children, Angela, Brenda Smola-Foti (Frank Foti), Marilyn Greene (Colin Greene), Shelly Smola-Scudder (Perrin Scudder), Dr. Angie Shepardson (Jason Shepardson) and Michael Smola (Julie Smola); and her grandchildren, Daniel Harper, Katherine Harper, Brennan Shepardson, Colby Shepardson, Nathan Foti, Ben Smola, Grace Smola, Caroline Smola, Tess Greene and Eva Greene.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (5024 N Grove Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73122). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
