With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Taylor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Taylor and Margie Lou "Lula" Taylor; his siblings, Homer, Joe and Ruby; and his daughter Lisa Cochran.
He is survived by: his brother Johnny Dean; his wife Virginia Haney; his sister Betty James; his children, Penny Stokesberry (David) and David Taylor (Jamie); his grandchildren, Trey Cochran, Brad Cochran, Haley Cochran, Josh Stokesberry, Jessica Stokesberry, Rachel Stokesberry, Riley Stokesberry, Zach Taylor and Zoe Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Cameran Cochran, Chloe Cochran, Cooper Cochran and Juliet Cochran. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
