He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Addison and Cecil Addison. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Barbee; his children, Lynne Webb, Kaylan, Sean, Lisa Cox (Phil), Kennedy, Mitchell and Garrik Addison (Laura (Parks)); his grandchildren, Spencer and Ryder; his son Brene Addison (Kristy (Choate)); and his grandsons, Luke and Blake. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Moody Memorial Methodist Church (2803 53rd St, Galveston, TX 77551).
