With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles F. Wickwire of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Charles had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Charles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Oxen Wickwire and Peggy Wickwire (Dykes); and his brothers, Eugene Wickwire and David Wickwire. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean Crowley; his children, Tara Brown of Temple, OK, Mike Wickwire of Lawton, OK, Trent Wickwire (Karen) and Rhonda McMurry (Denver); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Wickwire of Big Piney, WY and Kay McCall of Lawton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
