He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Thein and Jo Katherine Miller Thein; and his brothers, Chris and Curt. He is survived by: the mother of his children Gyda Davidson; his daughters, Gyla (Jeff Davis) of Oklahoma City and Heather (Danny Meier) of Oklahoma City; and his grandsons, Jacob Davis of Oklahoma City, Brock Davis of Oklahoma City, Eli Meier of Oklahoma City and Samuel Meier of Oklahoma City.
