It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darla Kay Phipps-Cain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Phipps and Frances Phipps Hawkins; her son Robert Dwayne Cain; and her brother Dave Burress. She is survived by: her husband Sammy Cain; her daughters, Sheila (Don Imhoff), Tina (Galen Crabtree) and Michelle (Steve Swearengin); her grandchildren, Tabatha (Wesley), Ashlee (Clayton), Samuel (Season), Taylor (Taylor), Kalen (Abel), Shelbee (Matt) and Cassee; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Halle, Rylee, Levi, Naomi, Ledger, McCoy, Cash and Paige.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Asa Smith Funeral Service (2039 Tim Holt Dr, Harrah, OK 73045). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at the Resthaven Cemetery of Oklahoma City.
