He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolon E. Penrod and Ethel V. Howard Penrod; and his siblings, Earnie Ray Penrod, Don Wayne Penrod, Dolores Shepherd, Colleen Taylor and Karen.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Joyce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his sons, Darrell Penrod Jr. (Lori) of Tecumseh and Derek Penrod of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his grandsons, Devin, Dylan and Ian; his great grandchildren, Devin Michael, Grayson and Benson; and his sisters, Barbara Brown (Gary) of Friona and Lila Ernst (Richard) of Agra, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Parkland Cemetery.
