He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cheek and Gladys Cheek; his wife Mary Scott Cheek; and his daughter Miranda Cheek. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Armstrong, Kim Harris, Kelly Overton, Cindy Mize, Jay Cheek, David Cheek and Douglas Cheek.
