She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Joy; her children, Donnie Pruitt and Debbie Nolen; her stepson Joe Joy (Naohmi); her sisters, Carolyn, Patricia "Pat" and Linda; her grandchildren, Danielle, Aaron, Jocelyn, Vernice, Fernando and Vannessa; and her niece Sonja Camden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
