With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorvan Richard Shields in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dorvan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorvan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Shields and Richard Shields; and his father-in-law Bill Warner. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Warner; his children, Lacey Berry (Ben) and Tyler Shields (Hillary); his siblings, Doris Brookman (Larry) and Terry Shields (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Piper Berry, Nora Berry and Jack Shields.
