He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest William and Mabel Ross Harris (Marr); his wife Helen Newman of Elk City; and his sister Virginia Ruth Wickizer (Harris). He is survived by: his children, Daniel Robert (Kathy) and Ruth Ann (Bill Smith); his grandchildren, Kara Keenze (Jon), Ben Smith (Rebecca Lunsford), Daniel Harris Jr., Katie Smith (Zack) and Jennifer Mann (Brady); his great grandchildren, Holden, Claire and Brooks Keenze; and his grandchildren, Emma, Leah, William III, Brock, Brooklyn Smith, Carter and Reese Mann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Arlington Memory Gardens (3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141).
