She was predeceased by: her father Johnnie Mae Roberts; her husband Grant F. Pickens; her sister Joyce Brown; and her children, Charles Brown, Harold Pickens, James Pickens, Terry Pickens, Beverly Pickens, Henney, Gregory Pickens (Sandra) and Reneta Dade (Homer).
She is survived by: her siblings, Tilford Johnson, Reversar Lipscomb and Mary Ellen Forte; and her grandchildren, Tracie White (Shawn), Tiffany Kouakou (Bruce), Chelsey Eaves, Shenear Pickens, Mikaya Dade and Malcolm Dade (Caitlin).
