She was predeceased by: her parents, Leeman Cargile and Bertha Cargile (Hardy); her husband James Ben Richard; her brothers, Emmitt Cargile Sr., Willie Cargile and Lonnie Lee Cargile; and her granddaughter Rochelle Cargile.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Keller (Wanda), Arif Abdullah (Cecily), Khyriyyah and Saeeda; her grandchildren, Aquiela Nelson-Sheryfield (Bobby), Ameenah Abdullah, Kadijah Abdullah, Derrick Cargile (Rella), Art Cargile, Warlith Dean Abdullah, Haneef Abdullah, Faruq Abdullah and Qasim Abdullah; and her great grandchildren, Kelasheta Campbell (Keerian), Amillion Sherfield, Bobby Sherfield Jr. and Nylo Abdullah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and dear friends.
