With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Ted Roberts in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 26, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gary Ted farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gary Ted is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" Montgomery Roberts and Barbara Dean Roberts (Hawkins); and his brother Von. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie; his children, Kay Sibley (Jeff) and Evan Roberts; his grandson Landon Sibley; his brother Scott Roberts (Jamie); and his sister-in-law Deanna Roberts (late Von). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mercer-Adams Funeral Service Chapel (3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Oklahoma Humane Society.
