He was predeceased by: his father Woodruff "Woody" Leroy Wilkes; his brother Douglas Dean Wilkes; and his stepson Eric David Burdette. He is survived by: his mother Leona Bell Wilkes; his wife Sheryl Wilkes; his daughter Heather Hodgson; his son-in-law Joshua Hodgson; his granddaughter Amelia Hodgson; and his siblings, Linda Wilkes and Mike Wilkes.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary's South Lakes Chapel (4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173).
