He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Funk and Dora Funk (Miller); his son Donnie Funk; his grandson Rusty Funk; his sisters, Edna Cramer and Shirley Diggs; his son-in-law Jimmy Simpson; and his siblings, David (Tammy) of Rush Springs, Charles (Mary) of Marlow, Mike (Becky) of West Virginia and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Funk; his grandchildren, Michael, Amber, Shelby, Jody, Jason, Ryan, John and Jacob; and his friends, Dorothy Boyer of Cumberland, MD, Mary Thiel (Roy) of West Virginia and Flora Pyle of Kingwood, WV. He is also survived by his thirteen great-grandchildren.
