He was predeceased by : his parents, Jackie James and Inez James; and his father-in-law Orville (Molly Manning). He is survived by : his wife Lynn James; his daughters, Mary Dooley (Harold) and Sherri O'Neil (Timothy); his grandchildren, Eric Dooley (Faith), Brennen Harris (Kelsey), Cameron Harris (Shelby), Thomas J. O'Neil and Adrienne O'Neil; his great grandchildren, Hunter Dooley, Ryder Dooley, Nolan Harris, Harper Harris, Allison Harris, Brexton Harris and Macklyn Harris; his brother-in-law Gordon Manning (Ginger); his niece Alicia Manning; and his nephew Michael Manning (Tamara). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Hills Baptist Church (8601 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159). A burial was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139).
