He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; and his sister Blanche McVey. He is survived by: his son Dr. Kelly Klontz; his daughter-in-law Terrie; his daughter Kathy Klontz Nassimbene; his granddaughters, Morgan and Lilly Klontz; his great grandchild Kylie Klontz; his sister Pat Erickson (Nick); and his brother-in-law William McVey.
