James J. Taylor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Taylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Gene Taylor McFall and Leslie Baker Taylor (Linda Gilpin Taylor); and his sister Connie Taylor McBride. He is survived by: his sons, Jimbo (Brooke Taylor) and Brice (Caroline Taylor); and his grandchildren, Logan Taylor, Aidan Taylor, Maelee Taylor and Huntlee Taylor. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).
