With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis M. Barber (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Goeringer and Carol Goeringer; her son Larry Paul Zerby; her former husband William Paul Zerby; her siblings, Ronnie Goeringer, Rosalie VanDuyne and Karen Galbraith; and her sibling-in-law Lymon Barber.
She is survived by: her son Brent Eugene Zerby (Janet Zerby); her daughter-in-law Debbie Zerby; her grandchildren, William, Shannon Zerby, Dustin, Angela Zerby, Ashli (Zerby), Jared Parsons, Candice (Zerby), Cliff Hutcheson, Kristin (Zerby), Kyle Blair, Keaton and Kara Zerby; and her siblings, Robyn Ramsey, Cheryl VanDuyne (Roger), Jon Goeringer (Alice) and Gary Goeringer (Eva). She is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren.
Janis Melvina (Goeringer) (Zerby) Barber, 92 went to be with her heavenly Father on January 1, 2026, after living with Alzheimer's for over 8 years.
