She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Lawrence "Bill" Bishop and Rose Belle Clark Bishop; her husband Benny Joe Gilstrap; her former husband David R. Fike; her sisters, Lois Knowles, Thelma Eatmon and Norma Ruth McIntire; her sister-in-law Joyce Jennings; and her son-in-law Mike Swindle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Swindle, Kathy Stapp (Ray) and Karla Royer (John); her grandchildren, Krista Cravens (Tim), Jill Swindle, Chance Stapp (Michelle), Alex Royer (Christina) and Seth Royer (Grace); her great grandchildren, Dylan Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn (Carli), Hannah Stapp, Mackenzie Stapp, Wyatt Royer, Bennett Royer and Calvin Royer; and her sister-in-law Reba Lawson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that in Jo Ann's memory donations be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children and Southern Hills Baptist Church Missions Program.
