He was predeceased by: his parents, John Latta and Reva Latta (Atkinson); his siblings, Ernest, Dwight Latta and Joyce Latta Hamilton; and his grandson John Cory Latta.
He is survived by: his wife Rella Latta (Borth); his sons, Phillip (Janene) of Canfield, Ohio, Jeff (Minka) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Brian of Wichita, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Jaemy Kline (Kyle), Jaecy Pagan (Abdiel), Sean Phillips (Amber) and Blake Phillips (Randi); his great grandchildren, Maddison, Samuel, Hayden Kline, Jonah, Havilah, Nissiah Pagan, Amelia Phillips, Aleks Hammler, Ridge, Carter Phillips and Macklemore Jenkins; and his sister Patricia Joy Latta Highfill.
