He was predeceased by: his parents, John Passek II and Anna Mae Passek (Barth); his sister Joanne Killian; his brother-in-law Robert Killian; and his nephew Michael Killian.
He is survived by: his wife Renda Reed Passek; his children, Dana Passek and Elizabeth Passek-Jones (Brian); and his granddaughters, Olivia Jones, Sophia Jones, Lydia Jones and Charlie. He is also survived by five nieces and two nephews.
