She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin and Gladys; her siblings, Joann Dehring and Philip Janzen; and her grandson Matthew Quintero.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Howard Christy Sr.; her children, Lewis Howard Christy, Jr. (Dianna Christy), Apryl Christy Ashby (Tom Ashby), Lynette Quintero (Guillermo Quintero) and Erin Christy Campbell (Michael Campbell); and her grandchildren, Lauren, Eric, Sydney, Amanda, Dannielle, Ryan, Alexander, Kyle, Morgan, Lucas and Kathleen. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Susan G. Komen in support of breast cancer research, or that you honor her memory by showing kindness, pursuing learning, and embracing life with curiosity and joy.
