He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Severs and Ella Severs (Harjo); his children, Rachel Severs and Robert Severs; his brother John Severs; and his grandchildren, Darren Newton and Donnita Severs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Augustine Severs of Okemah, Oklahoma and Nancy Severs of Okemah, Oklahoma; and his sister Mary Lee Severs of Okemah, Oklahoma. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
