He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Rex Wilson and Barbara Naomi Hall Daugherty; his brother Rex Wilson Daugherty Jr.; and his grandson Paxton McCord Mills. He is survived by: his wife Angela Daugherty; his children, Josh Daugherty (Anne) of Green Bay, Rosemary Daugherty of Tulsa and Kirbi Mills (Blake) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Mel, Rori, Lars Daugherty and Channing Lane Mills; his sisters, Gail Smith of Mannford and Chris Cox (Mike) of Vinita, OK; Mark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Event Center (41 NW 144th Cir, Edmond, OK 73013).
