She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Embree and Bessie Embree of Hobart, Oklahoma.; her husband John Wesley Bridges Sr.; and her sister Virginia Ingram. She is survived by: her children, John Wesley Vernon Bridges, Jr. (Joyce Bridges) and Linda Gayle Rook (Jim Guy); and her grandchildren, Richard Rook (April), Hope, Ashley, Eric, Sheila Monson (Carlos), Kobe, Jordan and Russell.
