It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joyce Bourne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bourne and Joyce Bourne; and his nephew Kirk Bourne. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Schmidt of Concordia; his grandchildren, Dayton of York, Nebraska and Andi of Ottawa; and his brothers, Gene (Annette) of Ellsworth, Jim (Brenda) of Concordia and Steve (Claudia) of Olathe. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, as well as great and great-great nephews and nieces.
