With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Wayne Buckley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his mother Lorene Buckley (Jackson); his grandparents, Timmie, Luella Jackson, Rufus and Gussie Buckley; his father Kozy Buckley Sr.; his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Leonard Frazier; his brother Kozy Buckley Jr. (June); his stepdaughters, Dionne Shemayme and Mary Mills; his niece Dana Harjo; and his aunts and uncles, Tecumseh (Alice), Billy Jo, Louie (Kathleen), Thomas, Joe (Flora), Jackie, Andrew, Jacob, Suzanna (Sam), Betty and Wilma.
He is survived by: his significant other Olivia Hail; his son Michael Buckley; his grandchildren, Brandon, Angela, Joey and Addison; his daughter Thomasen Buckley; his grandchildren, Tyra (GG-AJ), Mekaylah, Inessa, Cavin Sr. and Isaac; his great grandchild Myra Buckley; his grandchildren, Kelvin, Tatyana (GG-Ariella), Jahidi (GG-Tavion), Jamia, Jeffrey, Noah, Bryan, Vivianna, Orion (GG-Luciano), Bayork and Skyla; his sisters, Rhonda (Gary), Gussie and Belinda (Charlie); his uncle Robert; and his aunts, Diane, Karen and Molly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home (221 S Main St, Wetumka, OK 74883). A wake was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
