With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murriel Long (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hamblin and Florine Hamblin (Ward); and her husband Earl Dean Long. She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Luman (Tom) and Cynthia Cossey (Jerry); her sister Mina Vivian Younger (Tom); her grandchildren, Tamara Lea Young (Nolan), David Earl Cossey (Daniell), Weston Leon Cossey (Patricia), Kennedy Luman and McKenna Luman; her great grandchildren, Naomi Rose Young, Evelyn Belle Young, Madelyn Cossey, Olivia Cossey and Ian Cossey; and her sister-in-law Donna Craighead.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens - Oklahoma City (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
