He is survived by: his children, Barbara Keiko French (Dirk French) and Benjamin Satoyoshi Sawin (Jean Sawin); his sister Judith Sylvia Sawin; his nephew Mark Mulligan; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Alexander, Grace and Riley.
