He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Chappell and Glenice Estalyne (Purchase); his son Blake Chappell; and his brothers, Richard and Clifford Chappell.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Chappell (Linthicum); his son Chase Chappell (Shyla); his grandson Logan (Lydia); his great grandchild Marilyn; his granddaughter Kylee; his son Cole Chappell; his granddaughters, Talyn and Torrin Chappell; his daughter Alisha Robinson (Preston Mitchell); his grandsons, Chance Robinson (Kirsten) and Braden Robinson (Jordyn); his great grandchildren, Callahan, Quinn and Hank; his grandson Tanner Robinson (Hannah); his great grandchild Elijah; his daughter Kristia Prolluck (Vance Jones); his grandson Kendall Fleshman (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Kensington and Channing; his granddaughter Karrah Nordlund (Tobi); his great grandchildren, Arye, Shepherd, Kent and Rebecca Fleshman; his daughter Trisha Standlee; his grandchildren, Chloe and Luke; his sister Janice Young (Steve); DeAnne Chappell, Grayson and McKenna. He is also survived by family members, co-workers, colleagues, and friends.
