We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024, at the age of 98, Roy Leon Wright Sr. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born in Boswell, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Owen Wright and Sylvia Pearl Thomas (Sanders); his wife Joyce Wright; his granddaughter April Angel; and his siblings, Pete, William, Howard, Athran, Dorothy, Peggy, Gladys and Rosa.

He is survived by : his son R. Leon; his daughter-in-law Gina Wright; his daughter Angela; his son-in-law Phillip Helton; his grandchildren, Phillip Edward Helton, II, Victoria Helton, Trae, Tami Wright, Jeremy and Kat Wright; and his great grandchildren, Tristen, Aden, Erick, Connor and Cohen.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel (6201 NW 39th Expy, Bethany, OK 73008).
