He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert and Leva Girod (Shrum); his wife Gertrude Girod; and his daughter Jennifer. He is survived by: his children, Michael Girod (Valerie) and Kerry Girod; and his grandchildren, Lucy Girod, Ellie Girod, Elsie Fedha and Ashley Fedha.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James the Greater Catholic Church (4201 S McKinley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109).
