We announce the death of Ruth Ann Hammond in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 95. Ruth Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl E. Romine and Edna Romine (Mauk); her husband Delmar Hammond; her brother Bob Romine; her son-in-law Charles O'Dell; and her daughter Carla Redding (Hammond).
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie O'Dell of Luther and Cathy Tiefenbrun (Phil) of Arlington, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Jason O'Dell (Misti), Jeremy O'Dell (Leigh Ann), Brenda Ewing (Jason), Mark Tiefenbrun (Rocio Gomez) and Austin Redding. She is also survived by two great-great grandsons; and other family and friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Oakwood Christian Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
