It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Rodgers Trautvetter Gatchell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Rodgers and Rubye Brown Rodgers; her husband John H. Gatchell; her brother David L. Rodgers; her grandson Joshua E. Cloud; her stepson Gary D. Shaw; and her sister-in-law Janice Trautvetter Stiefel.

She is survived by: her children, Laura Trautvetter Stewart (John), Melanie Trautvetter Green (David) and David Corey Trautvetter (Leon) of Dallas; her grandchildren, Sean Donnell, Tyson Green (Ginger) and Sarah Green Novakovich (Seth); her great grandchildren, Zachary, Sam, Ashley, Cori, Tucker and Landon; her stepchildren, Barry K. Shaw, Janet Shaw McDaniels and Annie Shaw Johnson; her sister-in-law Janice Baldwin Rodgers; her nephew Shane Rodgers; her niece Roxanne Rodgers Chandler; her aunts, Jimmye Brown Taylor and Reba Brown Ray; her uncle Lennon L. Harrison; and her friend Delores Fennell Page.
