He was predeceased by: his father Troy Dean Reed; his grandfather Taylor; and his brothers, Derek Taylor Reed and Craig Forrest Reed. He is survived by: his mother Cassie Taylor Reed of Stillwater; his grandson Shon; and his uncle Ellis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Many engineers stayed with him to be close to Tinker and nurses booked him solid during the Covid Pandemic.
Steve was present for the "Honor Walk" which the Stillwater hospital conducts when someone chooses to donate organs which is a solemn procession at SMC.
