He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hollis Atkinson and Daisy Nell Stephens (Bearden); his grandparents, Leonard, Jay Bearden, Lester and Hazel Atkinson; his uncle Wayne Atkinson; and his sister Holly Stokes.
He is survived by: his children, Jarrod Atkinson (Julie) of Norman, OK and Sarah Atkinson of Norman, OK; his close friend Rashelle Allgood of Norman, OK; his brother Tolar Atkinson (Trina) of Purcell, OK; and his granddaughter Imogen Atkinson.
