He is survived by: his wife Pat; his stepmother Emma Gilbert; his children, Patti Gilbert-McLaughlin (Andy) of Guthrie, Andy Gilbert (Michelle) of Yukon and Michael Gilbert of Muskogee; his foster son Wilford Hackner (Denzi) of Washington, D. C.; his siblings, Raymond Gilbert (Jerri) of Nutley, NJ, Phillip Gilbert of Lincoln Park, NJ, Paula Gilbert of Wellington, NJ, Lisa Resciniti (John) of Nutley, NJ and Judy Cope of Kingsport, TN.; and his grandchildren, Josh, Lindsey, Justin, Nicoli, Jessica and Harrison. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and a number of his fur babies.
