He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Elivina (Black) and Earl Thomas Blakemore; his wife Virgina Sue Eldridge; his siblings, Leola Blakemore, Francis Blakemore (Anna Lou), Neal Blakemore (Louise) and Wyndel Blakemore (Mary); and his great grandchild Mae Virginia Giddens.
He is survived by: his brother Otis Blakemore (Diane); his children, Carmel Cotter (David) and Chris Blakemore (Elicia); his grandchildren, Jonathan Blakemore, Cara Giddens (Tim), Hailey Foster (Tim) and Lance Cotter (Jen); and his great grandchildren, J. T. Blakemore, Emily Foster, Cooper Henderson, Colton Henderson, Eli Foster, Harper Blakemore, Hazel Giddens and Max Giddens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Service (8712 N Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blakemore Funeral Service at the Springs Church of Christ (21477 N Western Ave, Edmond, OK 73012).
