It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alford McElhaney of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odas McElhaney and Jettie Ryals; his wife Leda Faye McElhaney (Thornburg); his son Alford; his stepfather Marion Grisham; and his brothers, Clarence, Carl, Clifford and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Trease Creighton, Janice York and Buddy McElhaney; and his grandsons, Mark Franklin, Roy Franklin, Justin Franklin, Kevin Kohler, David McElhaney, Ronnie McELhaney and Clint McElhaney. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Add'Vantage Funeral Service (9761 E 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74146). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Okmulgee Cemetery (2601 S Wood Dr, Okmulgee, OK 74447).
