As Betty departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betty. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert W. Peebles and Nellie B. Peebles (Skinner). She is survived by: her daughter Terri H. Jones (Steve) of Broken Arrow; her granddaughter Tabitha Osborn (Jeff) of Broken Arrow; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Gibson and Gentry Sue Osborn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel (303 E 7th St, Okmulgee, OK 74447).
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Okmulgee or the Okmulgee Humane Society.
