With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Y. Walters of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dolores Y. Walters to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Cagle and Hazel Julia Cagle (Williams); her husband Virgil Eugene Walters; and her siblings, Virginia Cagle, Doris Kay and Coleman Cagle.
She is survived by: her sons, Virgil Walters (Starla) and Kerry Walters; her grandchildren, James Walters, Tara Walters, Chris Walters (Laura), Sterling Brown (Bethanie), Jake Walters, Scott Walters, Robert Walters, Austin Walters (Tierra), Tyler Walters, Tanner Large, Kelsi Cook and Kylie Large; and her sisters, Annette Flowers of Indiana and Rose Hammond of Edmond. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Okmulgee Education Foundation for the Gene Walters Math Scholarship or the Shriner's Hospital.
