He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna McAlister; his father John B. McAlister; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Cottrel. He is survived by: his mother Regina McAlister; his brother Gary McAlister; his son John David McAlister; his granddaughter Elizabeth McAlister; his daughter Amber Richardson; his granddaughter Izabel Richardson; his daughter Rebecca Haney (Michael); his grandsons, Wyatt and Landon Haney; and his sister-in-law Jamie Parker (Darin). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel (220 S Alabama Ave, Okmulgee, OK 74447).
