He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Ramsey and Mary Ramsey (Thomas); his wife Janis Ramsey; his sons, Paul Michael Ramsey, Tony Ramsey, David Wayne Ramsey (Shelly) and Scotty Golightly; his siblings, Earnest, John, Willie, Addie, Rosemary Ramsey and Pat Vogle; and his sister-in-law Lois Ramsey.

He is survived by : his grandsons, Justin Stark, Jerrydon Ramsey and Steven Ramsey; his great grandchildren, Kaydence Golightly and Bodhi Ashley; his children, Sherill Medley (Danny), Paula Larney (Richard), Billie Golightly (Jim Dale), Kim Golightly (Dale Chronister), Wayne Golightly (Cindi), Karma Sessions (Ricky) and Niki Brown (Joe); and his brother David Ramsey (Sue). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel (303 E 7th St, Okmulgee, OK 74447). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
